Ranpak and Element Logic have entered a global partnership to integrate end-of-line packaging automation into warehouse systems, connecting picking and packing with shipment preparation.
The agreement combines Element Logic’s warehouse automation, software and systems integration capabilities with Ranpak’s technologies for box forming, closing, right-sizing, computer vision and paper-based product protection.
It formalises an existing relationship between the companies and allows packaging equipment to be incorporated into broader warehouse projects.
Element Logic said the approach would help customers reduce packaging consumption and shipped volume while improving packing efficiency. Ranpak’s systems automatically select, erect and right-size boxes around individual orders, replacing manual box-building operations.
“Partnering with Ranpak strengthens our packaging offering and enables us to deliver even greater value through integrated, scalable and sustainable solutions,” said Ankush Malhotra, group chief executive of Element Logic.
The companies linked the partnership to demand for more efficient fulfilment operations and evolving requirements under the EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation.
The announcement did not disclose financial terms or quantify expected customer savings.
