Syntegon will use PACK EXPO International 2026 in Chicago to present a range of new food and pharmaceutical packaging technologies as it promotes its vision of the “Factory of the Future” for manufacturers facing increasing cost pressures, labor shortages and stricter regulatory requirements.
Exhibiting in both the food and pharmaceutical halls, the company will showcase technologies designed to improve production efficiency, flexibility and automation while supporting manufacturers’ long-term operational performance.
Among the key highlights is the North American debut of neXt, Syntegon’s integrated system solution for food manufacturers. Developed to address increasing demand for production flexibility and automation, the platform combines seamless machine operation, real-time performance data and touchless automation to simplify changeovers, reduce training requirements and improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
The company will also introduce the latest version of its SVX vertical packaging platform. Capable of producing up to 300 bags per minute, the system is designed to support high-volume production while enabling rapid format changes across multiple bag styles. At PACK EXPO, Syntegon will demonstrate the platform producing corner-seal bags as well as a new integrated line solution for frozen food packaging.
For pharmaceutical manufacturers, Syntegon will highlight technologies aimed at supporting compliance with increasingly stringent sterile manufacturing requirements, including EU GMP Annex 1. The company will present the SPC 4000 settle plate changer, which automates active and passive viable monitoring to reduce manual intervention, improve process safety and increase equipment availability. The system can be integrated into both new and existing vial filling lines.
In addition to new equipment, Syntegon will place significant emphasis on its lifecycle services, which include engineering support, field service, equipment upgrades and AI-supported performance analysis designed to maximize uptime and extend the operational life of production assets.
“At PACK EXPO International, we demonstrate how our COCREATE and COSUCCEED concept helps customers in the US market address their most pressing production challenges,” said Torsten Türling, CEO of Syntegon. “Game-changing innovations, jointly developed with pioneering customers, deliver greater business impact in an environment defined by cost pressure, labor shortages, rising flexibility needs, and increasing regulatory complexity.”
He added: “Syntegon’s promise as a strategic lifecycle partner combines innovation leadership with best-in-class lifecycle services as the ultimate enabler for our customers’ growth.”
Beyond its technology exhibits, Syntegon will also serve as the exclusive sponsor of the Candy Bar Lounge in the Confectionery Pavilion, where visitors will be able to meet company experts and explore developments in confectionery, snack and bakery packaging.
