Meyers Acquires Mankato Packaging to Expand Folding Carton Capabilities

Meyers, the US-based sustainable packaging company, has announced the acquisition of Mankato Packaging, a Minnesota-based firm specialising in high-quality folding cartons. While the financial details of the transaction were not disclosed, the move will expand Meyers’ capabilities, client base, and operational scale within its core sectors.

“This is an exciting milestone for Meyers as we continue to grow our folding carton capabilities and expand the impact we can make for our clients,” said Christopher Dillon, co-owner and CEO of Meyers. “We’re thrilled to welcome new customer relationships and strengthen our presence in an industry that aligns so closely with our purpose.”

The acquisition “brings together two companies that share a deep commitment to quality, service, and sustainability,” noted Todd Loosbrock, President of Mankato Packaging. “Meyers’ industry leadership and purpose-driven mission made them the ideal partner to build on the strong foundation that Mankato Packaging has laid.”

Mankato Packaging provides a full suite of services including design, prepress, printing, die-cutting, and finishing, with a strong presence in food, life sciences, and beauty products—sectors that closely align with Meyers’ client portfolio. The acquisition will combine the expertise, resources, and technology of both businesses, aiming to better serve their collective clients.

The deal adds Mankato’s workforce to Meyers’ operations and introduces new client relationships while reinforcing the company’s commitment to sustainable innovation and long-term partnerships.

“As an independent, family-owned company, we remain deeply committed to delivering exceptional service, driving sustainable innovation, and building long-term partnerships that go beyond packaging,” Dillon added.

Meyers collaborates with several major brands including Hormel, Frito-Lay, Estée Lauder, Ulta Beauty, Saucony, and Microsoft.
