Conveyor and process engineering specialist Continuous Process Solutions has signed a landmark agreement to become the exclusive UK and Ireland agent for Chinese manufacturer Shanghai Mingke Process Systems Ltd, known for its advanced steel belts and machinery.
The partnership will enable Continuous Process Solutions to distribute Mingke’s full product portfolio across key industries including food, chemicals, wood-based panels, rubber, film casting, ceramics, papermaking, automotive testing, and more. The deal complements the West Midlands company’s own offerings, building on decades of technical experience in the continuous process sector.

However, this collaboration with Mingke now allows us to offer their top quality steel belts and machinery, enabling us to offer a full bespoke end-to-end service, from design and consultation, to installation and project management, to maintenance and servicing.”
The deal marks Mingke’s first formal representation in the UK and Irish markets. The Chinese company, which already has sales and service centres in more than 10 countries, including Australia, China, Poland, Turkey, Russia and Brazil, sees this as a key step in its international expansion.

Backed by a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility, Mingke products are based on “the careful selection of high-quality steel raw materials, and the use of global cutting-edge technologies,” offering performance characteristics that rival established European competitors.

Higher import costs due to Brexit, as well as Mingke’s economies of scale and more advanced processing knowhow, means that while their products already rival those of the European manufacturers for quality, they can offer significant savings for our customers.”
Beyond supplying steel belts, Continuous Process Solutions will now also be able to install and maintain Mingke steel belt machinery, including double belt presses, chemical flakers and pastillators, and custom conveyor systems. Installations will be managed by a fully trained and Mingke-accredited team, with support services offered UK and Ireland-wide, including 24/7 emergency cover.
