Nefab Group has acquired Jase Packaging B.V. and Heuman Verpakkingen B.V., two Netherlands-based companies specializing in premium wood-based packaging, heavy-duty corrugated solutions, and packing services. The move strengthens Nefab’s presence in the Netherlands and enhances its ability to offer complete and sustainable packaging solutions to industrial equipment manufacturers and other sectors.
Through its subsidiary, Nefab Packaging Netherlands B.V., the group now integrates Jase’s expertise in high-end wood and corrugated packaging with Heuman’s specialist packing services. The two companies will complement Nefab’s existing operations in the region, which already include a packaging engineering center, a cleanroom facility, and an ISTA-certified test laboratory.
Per Öhagen, President and CEO of Nefab Group, said:
“This acquisition strengthens Nefab’s position in the regional market and enhances our capacity to deliver premium wood-based solutions and services to customers in, for example, key segments like Healthcare and Semicon. By expanding our market presence and sustainable product portfolio, we are ready to provide even greater value to our customers.”
Founded in Sweden, Nefab has steadily grown into a global provider of sustainable transport packaging and logistics solutions. The acquisition of Jase and Heuman follows a series of expansion moves earlier this year in Spain, Denmark, and Sweden, reflecting Nefab’s strategy of combining local expertise with global reach to support customers’ evolving supply chain needs.
Jase, known for its high-quality wood and heavy-duty corrugated packaging, and Heuman, focused on tailored packing services, are established suppliers to a range of industrial sectors in the Netherlands. Together, they will help Nefab strengthen its offering to customers seeking integrated, resource-efficient packaging systems.
Martijn Seerden and Peter Jacobs, owners of Jase and Heuman, commented:
“We are proud to join the Nefab Group and contribute to their mission and global value proposition. Nefab’s ambitious growth strategy and commitment to customer service and resource efficiency align perfectly with our own values, and we look forward to growing together.”
Rui Garrido, Executive Vice President of Nefab EMEA, added:
“This acquisition allows us to further enhance our ability to deliver innovative solutions that generate both financial and environmental benefits for our regional and local customers. We are excited to welcome the Jase and Heuman team to the Nefab Group.”
Following these acquisitions, Nefab employs more than 5,000 people across 38 countries, with annual turnover exceeding SEK 10 billion (approx. EUR 860 million). The company continues to invest in sustainable innovations that reduce waste, emissions, and total costs in industrial supply chains, aligned with its mission of “saving resources in supply chains – for a better tomorrow.”
