Endoline Automation To Unveil Re-Engineered 7048 Random Case Sealer At Interpack 2026

Endoline Automation will use Interpack 2026 in Düsseldorf to introduce the latest iteration of its 7048 Fully Automatic Random Case Sealer, presenting a comprehensively re-engineered version of one of its longest-running end-of-line systems at Hall 11, Stand D74-10.

Originally launched nearly two decades ago as the 704 before evolving into the 7048, the system has become a widely adopted solution across a broad spectrum of production environments. The new generation has been redesigned to address shifting manufacturing requirements, with a focus on energy efficiency, faster build times and improved usability, while maintaining the performance standards associated with the platform.

A central element of the redesign reflects the changing realities of automated facilities. Cable requirements within the 7048 have been significantly reduced, a move intended to improve operational reliability and simplify maintenance procedures. In parallel, newly introduced sliding access doors have reduced the overall footprint of the machine to less than one metre in width — a response to ongoing constraints on factory floor space as automation density increases.

Health and safety compliance has also been strengthened through improved machine access and the integration of an intuitive HMI interface, designed to support simpler operation, faster servicing and reduced downtime.

The 7048 is engineered for production lines requiring high levels of flexibility. It automatically seals cases presented in random sequence, detecting the height and width of each incoming box in real time and adjusting instantly to accommodate varying case sizes. By eliminating the need for manual intervention or pre-sorting, the system is positioned for high-volume dispatch operations in both manufacturing and e-commerce settings.

Its four-column construction provides structural stability during rapid height adjustments, supporting consistent sealing performance at speeds of up to 14 cases per minute. The chassis is designed for continuous operation.

Alongside the 7048 launch, Endoline Automation will also showcase the Endoline 227 Fully Automatic Case Erector. The system is capable of operating at speeds of up to 22 cases per minute and is designed to deliver reliable case forming within a compact footprint, aligning with space-conscious production environments.

The company said exports now represent an increasing share of its business, underlining the growing international adoption of its end-of-line systems. At Interpack 2026, Endoline will position its portfolio as adaptable, high-performance solutions tailored to diverse production requirements across global markets.
