Mettler-Toledo To Present New Product Inspection Technologies At Interpack 2026

Mettler-Toledo Product Inspection will showcase its latest inspection technologies, software platforms and global service capabilities at Interpack 2026, positioning product inspection as a critical tool for manufacturers facing tighter regulatory scrutiny, rising costs and increasingly complex production environments.

Exhibiting in Hall 11, Stand A60, the company will present inspection solutions designed for food, pharmaceutical and packaging manufacturers under the theme “Inspect. Protect. Comply.” The focus is on helping producers manage contamination risks, verify product and packaging integrity, and maintain consistent compliance across production lines.

A central feature of the stand will be the global debut of the M50 R-Series metal detector, which Mettler-Toledo describes as the next generation in its metal detection portfolio. The system is positioned as an evolution of the company’s Profile and Profile Advantage models, with improved detection sensitivity and productivity aimed at simplifying compliance in modern manufacturing operations.

Alongside metal detection, x-ray inspection technologies will feature prominently. Interpack 2026 will mark the first European presentation of the X3 Bulk Series, developed for unpackaged, loose-flow and bulk products conveyed on belts. The system is intended to support foreign-body detection in bulk handling environments where inspection reliability and throughput can be difficult to maintain.

The exhibition will also include the X2 and X6 Series x-ray inspection systems, covering packaged products across a range of formats and line speeds. Together, the x-ray portfolio demonstrates how inspection solutions can be deployed at multiple stages of production, from incoming goods to final packaged products.

Checkweighing will be represented by the C35 high-performance checkweigher, shown in both food and pharmaceutical applications. According to the company, recent advancements enable the C35 to operate at line speeds exceeding 800 packs per minute while maintaining accuracy in demanding environments. The system is designed to support weight control, reduce product giveaway and help manufacturers meet weights and measures regulations.

Mettler-Toledo will also highlight its new-generation Combination Systems, integrating metal detection or x-ray inspection with checkweighing in a single unit. Available in CM and CX configurations, the systems are designed to reduce line footprint and simplify integration, with options to add further inspection functions such as label inspection.

A key digital component of the stand will be ProdX™, Mettler-Toledo’s data management software for product inspection devices. The platform connects inspection systems across the production line, automates data capture and traceability, and provides audit-ready documentation to support food-safety and regulatory compliance. At Interpack, ProdX™ will be demonstrated in a networked setup connecting 25 devices, alongside an immersive virtual-reality presentation illustrating how the software integrates with inspection equipment.

In addition to equipment and software, the company will present its global service offering, covering preventive maintenance, performance verification and lifecycle support. Mettler-Toledo says this approach is intended to help manufacturers maintain uptime, extend equipment life and manage operational risk under increasing regulatory and cost pressures.

“Manufacturers are under growing pressure to maintain product integrity and safety while managing rising costs and meeting increasingly complex compliance requirements,” said Daniela Verhaeg, Communications Manager at Mettler-Toledo Product Inspection. “At Interpack, we are demonstrating how our latest inspection solutions, combined with monitoring software and lifecycle service support, help customers inspect every product with confidence, protect their profits and operations and comply with industry requirements more easily.”

Mettler-Toledo Product Inspection will exhibit at Interpack 2026 in Hall 11, Stand A60, with live demonstrations and technical specialists available throughout the show.
