PAC Machinery has introduced two new medical-grade validatable continuous band sealers intended for regulated healthcare and high-tech production environments. The Audion D542 AVTSV (vertical configuration) and the Audion D542 AHSV (horizontal configuration) have been engineered to meet stringent requirements for seal integrity, process control, and compliance across medical, pharmaceutical, and advanced manufacturing operations.
The new systems will replace the company’s 552 Med and 555 Med models and are designed to maintain precise and repeatable seals by controlling three critical parameters — temperature, pressure, and speed — with real-time monitoring and automated deviation alerts. The units also incorporate reject functionality to ensure that only compliant packages progress through production.

Both units feature a 7-inch touchscreen interface and support PE, PP, laminates, paper, and sterile-barrier materials. The systems are built entirely from stainless steel for improved durability and hygiene, and they conform to ISO, CE, EN, and DIN standards. Optional enhancements include UDI printing, barcode scanning for rapid recipe selection, and user-authentication access control.
The vertical D542 AVTSV model targets applications requiring upright product orientation, while the horizontal D542 AHSV version is designed for items that must remain level or stable during sealing.
Alongside the new medical-grade equipment, PAC Machinery has confirmed availability of the D547 AHS horizontal band sealer for industrial applications. The non-medical model, now in stock, replaces the former 552 series and includes motorized, recipe-driven height adjustment for both the sealing head and conveyor.
