Antalis Packaging Expands Manual Stretch Film Range With Grip® Systems Dispenser

Antalis Packaging has broadened its pallet-wrapping portfolio with the addition of Grip® Systems’ manual stretch-film dispenser and associated films, a solution positioned to address workplace safety concerns and improve wrapping efficiency across operations still reliant on hand application.

Manual pallet wrapping remains a persistent ergonomics challenge for warehouses and distribution centres, where operators must reach, twist and apply tension in ways that can contribute to musculoskeletal strain. Antalis says the Grip® Stretch Film Dispenser is engineered specifically to reduce these risks while improving throughput and consistency.

Weighing under one kilogram, the dispenser is designed to support operators working around awkward or irregular loads. Its lightweight construction aims to facilitate access to upper corners, while a skid-plate allows users to reach lower sections without excessive bending. According to the company, Grip Film’s automatic contraction creates a strapping effect on application, helping to stabilise irregular loads. The film’s puncture resistance and reinforced edges are intended to maintain load integrity during transport.

Grip Films are available from stock in Elite (lighter-duty) and Premium (heavy-duty) clear variants, with tinted versions and further specifications offered on request.

Commenting on the launch, Steve Marples, Category Manager at Antalis, said: “Grip Systems’ film dispenser and films is ideal for operations wrapping pallets by hand. With it, they can achieve up to 40% savings in time, waste and costs. I’d also recommend all sizes of business take advantage of Antalis’ free stretchCONSULT service. It’s a really valuable exercise that ensures customers receive advice on both the best equipment and stretch film for their operation.”
