Tosca, a global provider of 100% reusable and recyclable plastic packaging and pooling solutions, has been awarded the EcoVadis Gold Medal for the second consecutive year, solidifying its position as a leader in sustainability performance. The recognition places Tosca in the top 5% of organisations assessed by EcoVadis over the past 12 months.

EcoVadis evaluates companies across four key areas: Environment, Labour and Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement. Tosca’s Gold Medal reflects the company’s “outstanding performance” in these domains, and “demonstrates a commitment to promoting transparency throughout the value chain.”
Over the past year, Tosca has introduced a range of initiatives aimed at strengthening sustainability performance, including a new data management and reporting system to improve data collation and trend analysis. The company also emphasised “a stronger focus on sustainable procurement, the environment and diversity and inclusion.”
Procurement in particular was a strategic priority, with Tosca implementing “a more structured approach for evaluating new suppliers and streamlining the onboarding and management process.” The company also invested in workforce development, aimed at “creating opportunities for growth across the company.”
