PKN Recognises TNA’s Nadia Taylor with Hall of Fame Award for Lifetime Achievement

Nadia Taylor, co-founder and director of TNA Solutions, has been awarded the Hall of Fame distinction at the 2025 PKN Women in Packaging Awards, held in Sydney on 27 June. The accolade, presented by PKN Packaging News, recognises Taylor’s four-decade-long contribution to the global packaging industry and her lasting influence on both innovation and inclusion in manufacturing.

The Hall of Fame award is the highest honour conferred by PKN’s annual programme and celebrates outstanding visionaries whose leadership and achievements have shaped the packaging sector. In presenting the award, Lindy Hughson, Managing Editor and Publisher of PKN Packaging News, praised Taylor’s transformative role:

“Nadia Taylor exemplifies the spirit of this recognition. Her lifelong contribution to advancing packaging innovation, building a global business from the ground up and championing women in manufacturing is truly inspiring. Nadia’s work reflects everything this award was created to honour—visionary leadership, community contribution and a legacy that will influence generations to come.”

Taylor co-founded TNA Solutions in 1982 alongside her late husband, Alf Taylor. The company quickly rose to prominence with the launch of the tna robag®, the world’s first rotary, high-speed vertical form-fill-seal system. Under Taylor’s direction, TNA has grown into a global force in the food packaging and processing industry, with more than 16,000 systems installed across 130 countries.

Her influence extends beyond industrial success. Through the Nadia and Alf Taylor Foundation, she has supported educational, economic, and social development programmes in 46 countries, particularly focused on empowering women and children in disadvantaged regions across Africa and the Asia Pacific. Within TNA, Taylor has consistently championed a culture of inclusion, meritocracy, and opportunity.

“This award is not only a personal milestone but a testament to the dedication of the entire TNA team and the trust of our customers around the world,” said Taylor during her acceptance speech. “I’m proud of how far women in our industry have come, and I remain committed to supporting the next generation of leaders.”

The PKN Women in Packaging Awards, launched to spotlight female leadership and innovation across Australasia’s packaging industry, established the Hall of Fame in 2024 to formally honour lifetime achievements. The programme is part of PKN Packaging News’ broader commitment to championing diversity, progress, and sustainable industry leadership.

Founded on the principles of performance, responsibility, and long-term partnership, TNA Solutions continues to operate with a global mindset and strong humanitarian values. Taylor’s Hall of Fame recognition cements her legacy as both a business pioneer and a force for positive social change within and beyond the packaging world.
