SUN Automation Group, a U.S.-based provider of corrugated industry solutions, is extending its collaboration with Latitude Machinery Corp. (LMC) into the European market, building on several years of joint growth in the United States.
The partnership, which focuses on Flexo Folder Gluers (FFGs) and Rotary Die Cutters (RDCs), has already delivered results for corrugated converters in North and Central America. SUN said it is now seeking to replicate this success in the UK and continental Europe.
“Over the past several years, our partnership with LMC has brought tremendous value to customers throughout the U.S. by providing world-class Flexo Folder Gluers (FFGs) and Rotary Die Cutters (RDCs), backed by SUN’s dedicated service and support,” said Greg Jones, Executive Vice President, SUN Automation Group. “We are excited to bring this same level of customer-focused service, innovation, and reliability to the European market.”
Gokul Gopakumar, Vice President of Technology and Business Development at SUN, underlined that combining LMC’s machinery with SUN’s technical expertise creates “a winning formula” for converters. “This expansion allows us to replicate that success in Europe and provide converters with scalable, innovative solutions that improve productivity and profitability,” he said.
From LMC’s perspective, the move represents continuity with its long-term approach. “Our vision has always been to deliver more than just machinery—we deliver long-term value through service, spare parts, and a deep understanding of our customers’ business goals,” said Anson Hsiao, Sales Manager at LMC. “With SUN leading this effort in Europe, customers can expect the same trusted support and commitment that has defined our partnership in the U.S.”
By strengthening its presence in Europe, SUN Automation Group is positioning itself as a global partner to corrugated converters, offering not only machinery but also support and after-sales service aimed at improving efficiency and profitability.
