The Shanghai World of Packaging (swop), China’s leading trade fair for packaging materials, production, and printing, will return to the Shanghai New International Expo Center (SNIEC) from November 25 to 27, 2025. As a key event in the interpack alliance, the trade fair will provide a platform for industry leaders to explore the latest developments in packaging technology, sustainability, and automation.
Following a successful 2024 edition that attracted over 33,000 visitors from 104 countries, swop 2025 is expected to draw more than 950 exhibitors and 40,000 attendees. Industry professionals, including decision-makers from major global brands such as Unilever, 3M, P&G, Coca-Cola, and Huawei, are set to engage in discussions on key industry challenges and innovations.
The event will cover a broad spectrum of packaging industry topics, including machinery, packaging materials, circular economy strategies, e-commerce solutions, and product labeling. In addition to exhibition showcases, attendees can participate in forums and panel discussions on artificial intelligence, sustainable packaging design, and food safety initiatives.
A special highlight of the event is the International Pavilion, which offers international companies a structured entry into the Asian market.
