The World Packaging Organisation (WPO) has announced that the prestigious WorldStar Awards Ceremony 2025 will take place on May 30, 2025, at the Alcione Theatre in Milan, during the IPACK-IMA show (May 27-30, 2025). This internationally renowned event will honor groundbreaking innovations and achievements in the global packaging industry.

“WPO is thrilled to announce the winners of the WorldStar 2025 edition at a prestigious Gala Ceremony during IPACK-IMA 2025,” said WPO President Luciana Pellegrino. “This event will bring together industry leaders, design professionals, and brands from around the world to celebrate packaging innovation and encourage advancements that make a positive impact.”
With 550 entries from 40 countries, this year’s competition saw a record-breaking number of participants, with 260 winners. The awards recognize packaging solutions that excel in innovation, sustainability, design, and functionality. In addition to the main awards, the ceremony will reveal winners in key special categories, including:

According to Valerio Soli, President of IPACK-IMA, hosting the WorldStar Awards at IPACK-IMA underscores the event’s global significance, bringing together top industry players, including packaging manufacturers and end-users.
