Wentus GmbH, a prominent provider of high-performance packaging solutions for the food, consumer, and hygiene sectors, has officially rebranded as Trioworld Höxter GmbH. This rebranding marks the full integration of Wentus into the Trioworld Group, a leading global supplier of innovative plastic film solutions.
The integration strengthens Trioworld’s Consumer Packaging division, broadening its product offerings and market reach. The newly expanded portfolio will be showcased at the upcoming FACHPACK trade show in Nuremberg, Germany, from September 24 to 26, 2024, where the company will unveil its latest packaging innovations.
Since Trioworld’s acquisition of Wentus GmbH in January 2024, the Höxter-based facility has bolstered the group’s food packaging capabilities. The site now offers a comprehensive range of films for various food applications, including frozen food, meat, fish, poultry, bread, processed cheese, and lamination films for bagmaking.

Trioworld’s expanded food packaging range includes advanced skin and barrier films that meet the high standards of the food industry while promoting resource conservation. Notable products under the WENTOPRO® and WENTOPLEX® brands offer significant benefits such as lower energy consumption, reduced plastic usage, and improved recyclability. The SkinTight® series, for example, provides premium skin films for fresh meat, fish, and poultry that use less energy and material during processing, while WENTOPLEX® Klappack offers a sustainable option for sliced products, using up to 60% less material with a recyclability rate of 96%.
Trioworld will present these innovations at Hall 5, Stand 128 at FACHPACK 2024.
