Tosca has announced a significant expansion of its operations in Germany, opening a new service centre in Salzkotten and extending its existing facility in Frechen. The move is designed to support growing demand from key retail customers and fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) partners across Central Europe.
The newly opened Salzkotten site, which began operations on 1 February 2025, covers 3,300 square metres and offers an annual capacity of 3.1 million trips for reusable plastic half pallets. It plays a strategic role in scaling Tosca’s offering in the region, particularly in onboarding new FMCG clients and ensuring service continuity in high-volume environments.
In parallel, the company has completed a major expansion of its Frechen service centre. Doubling the site’s capacity, the upgrade enables Tosca to facilitate an additional 2 million pallet flows annually. The investment supports projected business growth of over 30% in 2025 and reinforces the company’s ability to maintain consistent quality and service delivery across its German network.
“These strategic investments allow us to keep pace with growing demand while maintaining the high standards of service, reliability, and sustainability expected by our customers,” said Marco Gonzalez, Managing Director for Central Europe. “With enhanced infrastructure in Salzkotten and Frechen, we are well positioned to support our continued growth across Germany.”
The expansion reflects Tosca’s commitment to strengthening supply chain efficiency for leading European retailers and FMCG clients. The company’s reusable plastic half pallet system is part of a joint programme with several prominent retail chains, designed to optimize operations while advancing sustainable logistics practices.
By bolstering its infrastructure in key locations, Tosca continues to align its operational capacity with customer growth trajectories and the increasing demands of regional retail distribution.
