Valencia to Host Seventh MeetingPack as Registration and Speaker Call Open

The seventh edition of MeetingPack, one of Europe’s leading events dedicated to barrier packaging in the agri-food sector, will take place on 21–22 April 2026 at a new venue — the Museu de les Ciències Príncipe Felipe in Valencia’s City of Arts and Sciences. Organised by AIMPLAS and AINIA, the event will once again gather the full spectrum of the packaging value chain to examine the latest technological developments and regulatory challenges tied to sustainability and circularity.

Registration is now open, and companies interested in showcasing innovations or thought leadership are invited to submit presentation proposals by 30 September 2025.

The 2026 programme will be structured around eight key thematic areas, including:

  • Innovative materials for sustainable packaging production (I & II)
  • Sustainability in flexible and rigid barrier packaging
  • Packaging strategies aligned with 2030 climate and waste objectives
  • Packaging reuse systems
  • Advanced recycling processes
  • Trends driven by consumer behaviour and retail needs

Building on the success of its 2024 edition — which drew nearly 300 delegates from 11 countries — MeetingPack 2026 will again serve as a platform for business development and knowledge exchange, offering presentation sessions, networking zones, and a comprehensive exhibition area. Attendees will include representatives from packaging manufacturers, food companies, distributors, technology centres, and regulatory bodies.

Sponsorship and speaking opportunities now available

Sponsorship is expected to play a significant role in this edition. In 2024, 18 companies supported the event. For 2026, organisers have opened multiple sponsorship categories, allowing firms to gain international visibility and participate actively through session moderation, award presentations, or technical talks.

Depending on the sponsorship level, firms can also secure exhibition space in the main hall, with stand allocation following a first-come, first-served model.

MeetingPack continues to position itself as a critical forum for driving sustainable innovation in food packaging — one that helps align industry efforts with policy developments and market expectations.
